AWHONN Intermediate Electronic Fetal Monitoring (I-EFM)
This course contains principles of fetal heart monitoring.
Designed for those who have completed basic fetal monitor training and use fetal heart monitoring in the intrapartum setting (6 months minimum).

AWHONN Obstetric Patient Safety (OPS) Workshop
The OPS workshop is designed to help clinicians work together as as a team using effective communication to identify, assess, and manage the care for patients with an obstetric emergency through simulation and debriefing.
Designed for clinicians working in the following departments: perinatal, emergency, medical-surgical, ICU, and critical access will find this course essential to caring for patients experiencing an obstetric emergency.
Successfully complete this approved simulation activity for eligibility to receive Part IV Practice Improvement credit for the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program.

- This course reviews post-resuscitation or pre-transport stabilization for neonates health care in all settings.

Strengthen your staff development by building instructors in your area! Becoming an AWHONN Intermediate Electronic Fetal Monitoring (I-EFM) or Obstetric Patient Safety (OPS) instructor requires completion of the course itself, candidate application fees, instructor course completion, and materials purchase.
We also offer development of ACOG Emergencies in Clinical Obstetrics (ECO) trainers. This course reviews obstetric emergencies.

- Identify a primary hospital contact for coordination with NPQIC Perinatal Quality Nurse Specialists
- Identify your need for on-site simulation and/or courses per above opportunities
- Submit details and availability windows for scheduling in NPQIC-EdU Request Form
- We will review your submission and reach out with date options for your team and preparation details for the visit.
