Mission & History

Our Mission

Our mission is to advance safe, respectful, and high-quality perinatal care for all Nebraskans by building strong partnerships across healthcare and community settings.

Vision

We envision a Nebraska where systems of care collaborate to achieve the best perinatal outcomes.

Values

Leadership, Innovation, Family-Centered, Respect, and Stewardship.

History

The Nebraska Perinatal Quality Improvement Collaborative (NPQIC) was formed by a group of statewide stakeholders in February 2015 with the intent of improving the quality of care in Nebraska for mothers and babies.

In September of 2022, NPQIC became one of now 36 perinatal quality collaboratives to be funded by the CDC.
