Maternal Advisory Group
The Nebraska Perinatal Quality Collaborative features a dedicated Maternal Advisory Group that convenes quarterly to address critical issues in maternal care across the state. This diverse group consists of experienced healthcare professionals who provide maternity care or perinatal services to birthing people. Each member serves as a voice for one of eight distinct regions in Nebraska, bringing unique perspectives on local challenges and opportunities. This group plays a vital role in shaping the NPQIC's initiatives by offering valuable insights, guiding strategic decisions, and championing quality improvement efforts in perinatal care. Through their regional representation and expertise, these professionals ensure that the collaborative's work remains responsive to the varied needs of mothers and newborns throughout Nebraska.
